You Are…the Weakest Link

Just like at the poker table, if you look around the PB court and can’t figure out who the sucker is…it’s most likely YOU.

At the poker table, unlike on the PB court, you can hide from your opponents and fold every hand if you want. You don’t have to play against the better players if you choose not to. In PB, however, that’s not an option. If you’re the weakest player, you’re going to be the target and there isn’t much you or your partner can do about it.

How to not be the sucker
Easy Road: always play weaker competition. Result = stagnation
Hard Road: self-audit, identify weaknesses, and turn them into strengths. Result = become the better player

What I see too often, unfortunately, are players who constantly whine and complain about being the weakest player on the court, but then doing nothing about it.

For those interested in finding solutions – you can’t hide from the better player in our game, so why not become the better player? Put in the time. Grind away at those weaknesses. Never be the sucker again.
