The world is full of massive towers worth taking a moment to marvel at.
The Eiffel Tower in France. The Empire State Building in New York.
And now, the Tower of Isner on the PPA Tour.
In case you missed it, this past weekend saw John Isner – the former world No. 8 tennis player – in all his 6'10" glory playing in the PPA Tour Texas Open.
And while his first real professional match resulted in a loss, his showing wasn't all that bad. Especially, if you consider some of the other tennis-turned pickleball premieres we've seen in the past.
Meet John Isner
Besides being tall and one of the best tennis players in the world and now a professional pickleball player ... who really is John Isner and why is he dabbling in pickleball?
Well, you're in luck.
Pickleball's own Dave Fleming sat down with the big man and had a pretty great interview with him.
Watch it here:
Welcome to the cult, er, the sport of pickleball, John; you're a welcomed addition.
