So many 'firsts' and 'largests'
You're going to hear the words "first," "largest," and "biggest" a lot in 2024 as they pertain to pickleball, at least if the past year is any indication.
Consider:
- The largest single season prize pool in the sport came about around this time last year
- Then, the largest indoor pickleball club in Texas popped up in a state already known for lots of pickleball facilities
- Another Floridian accomplishment: pickle's first stadium opened late last year
- Plus, the biggest collegiate pickleball tournament went down last November
The Pickle Games are just one of many large events that'll attract large numbers of fans to one space. The first pickleball convention will kick off in August of this year.
