Kicker Jake Elliott of the Eagles Clearly Has a Post-NFL Career in Pickleball
Football kickers are a rare breed and are historically good at other sports like golf, tennis, soccer, etc ...
You can now add pickleball to the mix.
Jake Elliott, the successful kicker for the NFL's Philadelphia Eagles, was recently seen doing spin shots in this Instagram post from @Greenlightpod, a podcast hosted by former NFL defensive end Chris Long.
According to Barstool Sports, if you ask any Eagles player who the best pickleball player on the team is, almost all of them will say it's Elliott.
He's also apparently a scratch golfer and great at everything he does – he was also a standout tennis player in high school.
According to the article,
"He already looks like he's a solid 4.0 player with the raw talent to be 5.0+. All I'm saying is that we are going to see Jake Elliott compete in a pro pickleball tournament at some point in life. Might not be tomorrow, but it certainly won't be never. Maybe he'll be playing with Nick Foles."
Even Super Bowl champion Nick Foles has jumped on the pickleball hype train 🔥

Will we see an all-Eagles dynamic duo in pro pickleball someday? Seems like that has some legs to it.
