Jersey Shore and pickleball: it's a match made in heaven. Indoor pickleball facility brand Pickleball Kingdom has identified the state as a key growth area and announces its plans to open 20 locations in Central Jersey over the next few years – and it's looking for people to want in.
It only makes sense, as New Jersey ranks as the 11th most-populated state in the nation.
Investors in Pickleball Kingdom may want to know that the facility's Chandler, AZ owner has designs on more than simply opening more locations.
Earlier this year, he announced his reality TV project tentatively titled "Pickleball Paddle Battle" which sought 8 male and 8 female contestants over the summer. Filming took place this fall, and the program is set for release sometime next year.
So the expansion of the franchise to New Jersey – perhaps the state most known for reality television – seems only too apropos.
"The hunger for pickleball is ravenous and we are scaling to meet that demand. We are only limited by speed at which we can identify key partners to expand with," Pickleball Kingdom CEO Ace Rodrigues said.
Investment opportunities
Rob Streett, COO of Pickleball Kingdom, said in a press release, "For the right person, this opportunity could be life changing. We're looking for 'early adaptors' who see the value in being first to market. Franchising experience is a plus, but not necessary."
