Someday, humans might be playing pickleball on the moon. Until then, a place in Dallas is the closest you can get.
Set to open in July, Tower Club Dallas will host the world's highest pickleball court on its 48th floor. Appropriately, it will be called "Pickleball in The Sky," and offer 360-degree views of downtown Dallas.
Who is Invited
Members and non-members will be welcomed to play. But, that's not the "Invited" we're talking about.
Invited is the largest owner-operator of private golf and country clubs in North America, and it is behind this innovative venture. The court will be open for individual play or group outings. Visitors can also enjoy a specially curated menu featuring light bites and cocktails, all enhanced by a DJ to set the mood with music.
David Pillsbury, CEO of Invited, expressed his enthusiasm about this unique offering: "Invited continues to surprise and delight its members and the local community with innovative experiences. The Pickleball Court in the Sky is just another example of how we engage with pickleball fans in Dallas and promote the sport across our nationwide portfolio of clubs."
Invited is known for racquet sports and pickleball
Invited is renowned for its leadership in racquet sports, boasting over 800 tennis courts and 400 pickleball courts across 170 clubs. Their commitment to pickleball is evident in their hosting of significant events, including the National Pickleball Championships at Brookhaven Country Club, which attracts more than 3,500 players each year.
